QUESTIONS,ANSWERED.
Short, direct answers about deepfake detection, media forensics, deployment and how to start.
About SpearTrace
What is SpearTrace?
SpearTrace is a media-forensics and deepfake-detection platform. It analyses video, image, audio and documents with classical forensic sensors and produces explainable, reproducible reports. It runs on your own hardware and can be installed fully air-gapped.
How does SpearTrace detect deepfakes?
It measures the file instead of guessing. Independent sensors check temporal consistency, compression history, sensor-noise residuals, spectral continuity, file structure and metadata. Results are combined into a score that shows which sensors agree, with the evidence beside each finding.
Can SpearTrace run offline or air-gapped?
Yes. The analysis platform runs entirely on-premise with no external calls. Optional model adapters are a separate phase, and the platform works fully without them.
Which industries use media forensics and deepfake detection?
SpearTrace is designed for law enforcement, banking and finance, insurance, telecommunications, newsrooms and fact-checkers, legal and courts, government and election bodies, enterprise security teams, and e-commerce marketplaces.
Are SpearTrace reports usable as evidence?
Reports list inputs, hashes, software versions and parameters so a second examiner can repeat the analysis, and the platform keeps a chain-of-custody log. Whether a report is admissible is decided by the court or authority in your jurisdiction, so SpearTrace makes no admissibility claim.
Does SpearTrace give an accuracy percentage?
SpearTrace reports measurements and states what each sensor cannot tell you. It does not publish an unverified accuracy figure. Results depend on file quality, compression and provenance, and each report records those limits.
What file types does SpearTrace analyse?
Video, still images, audio recordings and documents such as PDF and scanned pages. Each type has its own sensor set, described on the capability pages.
Where is SpearTrace built and supported?
SpearTrace is a product of SpearCompute Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia and supports customers in Malaysia, Southeast Asia and internationally.
How do I request a briefing or pilot?
Use the contact form, message us on WhatsApp at +60 17-773 7302, or email kumar@spearcompute.com. We scope a briefing or a pilot on samples you provide under your own handling rules.
Do I need to upload evidence to the website?
No. Please do not send sensitive evidence through the website form. The platform is installed in your own environment, and we arrange a secure channel for any sample material.
Bring the footage.
Tell us what media you need to trust and where it has to be analysed. We will scope a briefing or a pilot on your own samples.
